How to Use the Left Click Test

The left button does the most work, so it often fails first. This left click test counts every click in the box, so you can check that each press counts exactly once. If the count jumps by two, run the double click test.

  1. Click in the box. Use the left button.
  2. Count along. Click 20 times and check it says 20.
  3. Try light presses. A worn switch may miss soft clicks.
  4. Check chatter. Run the double click test if counts jump.

Left Click Not Working Properly?

  • Try another USB port or fresh batteries.
  • Clean around the button.
  • Turn off ClickLock in Windows mouse settings.
  • A worn switch needs replacing.
