Controller Button Test
Press each button once. When the counter reaches the total, every button works.
How to Use the Controller Button Test
This button test lists every button your controller reports and ticks each one off as you press it. Pressed buttons glow, tested ones stay highlighted. It's the fastest way to find a dead face button, a sticky D-pad direction or a bumper that only works when pressed hard.
- Connect the controller. Press any button first.
- Press every button. Face buttons, D-pad, bumpers, triggers, sticks and menu buttons.
- Watch the counter. It should reach the full total.
- Check for sticking. A button that stays lit after release is sticking.
