Dead Pixel Test

Clean your screen, press Start and look closely at each colour. A dot that doesn't match is a dead or stuck pixel.

Click or press → for the next colour, ← to go back, Esc to exit.

How to Use the Dead Pixel Test

This dead pixel test fills your whole screen with one colour at a time: black, white, red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow and grey. Each colour makes a different kind of fault stand out. Click to go to the next colour and press Esc to leave.

  1. Clean the screen. Dust looks just like a dead pixel.
  2. Start full screen. Press the button, or click a colour swatch.
  3. Look closely. Scan the screen slowly, section by section.
  4. Click for the next colour. Check every colour, then press Esc.
