Plug in or connect a controller and check buttons, analogue triggers, stick drift and vibration. The Gamepad Tester works with Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro controllers in Chromium browsers via the Gamepad API.

Controller problems often show up as missed jumps, soft triggers or a character that drifts when you let go of the stick. These tests plot axes and buttons live so you can see the fault instead of guessing.

Wireless pads need a solid USB receiver or Bluetooth link; try a cable if readings stutter. Stick drift that grows over minutes usually means worn pots — cleaning helps sometimes, replacement is the lasting fix.
