CPS means clicks per second — a simple score of how fast you can click in a set time. Gamers use it for Minecraft PvP and clicker games; anyone can use it to check whether a mouse button feels laggy.
Scores vary by technique: fingertip clicking often lands around 6–10 CPS, while jitter, butterfly and drag click push higher on mice that support them. Use the same test length when you compare with friends, and stop if your hand hurts.
